Cerillion by Unkn0wnfear Cerillion by Unkn0wnfear
I wasn't liking my Sword of Ancient Technology as much as i could, so i played around with the colors. I found i could make it white and it would look cooler. However, the blade i was using didn't transfer to white so well, so i used the blade from Aerogen.
.... Cerillion as i call this, ended up being twice as cool as both of them combine :D. This is my favorite of the blades i made so far ^_^.

Wicked design! reminds me of something from FinalFantasy XII with the style,
Can I ask how you create these designs?

I've been finding cool pictures on deviant art for a looong time. I've got a huge library of the stuff i've collected -- maybe 600 pictures or so of cool characters, designs and weapons. I make these blades by taking small fragments from these pictures and piecing them toghether. So for example, The spikes on a characters shoulder pads could become a spike on the hilt of a blade. For the most part i try to edit them enough so the pieces are unrecognizable but sometimes thats hard to do. If you're really familiar with Wen-M's work you'll notice i use a lot of pieces from his works. I dunno if he notices lol. I doubt he cares -- i'm not doing anything with these blades.
I have no idea what they are going to look like before I make them. Basically I set an element, use my Elemental Blades template which is just the Handle, the ring, the spikes and no blade and I look through my extensive library for pictures that i think would work for that element. Then i cut them out and piece them toghether one by one. The process usually takes 5-7 hours.

I thought I noticed some of the blades had some Wen-M pieces in them,
Just small sections like you say, surprises me how much I take in when looking at artworks. :P
I sure hope he doesn't notice! but like you said, your not using them for anything...
you seem to manipulate them into new creations anyway, this method I know because I do that with some of my artworks myself, I learnt how to do photo layering for illustration work, which I mainly use photographs to do so, I try not to use any peoples artworks for obvious copyright reasons, so I do hope your careful.

Yeah. Most of them end up being used for entirely different purposes though. Like using armor for blades. The Blade portion of the Elemental Blade of Light, was A Shin Guard lol.

This is pretty chill man, I like this a lot but my favorite one of yours is the elemental blade of darkness. This is amazing though definitely getting a love from me. XD
